I believe quality, affirming mental health care should be accessible, while also maintaining a sustainable practice. My full fee reflects the specialized training, labor, and resources required to provide this care. It also directly funds reduced-fee slots in my practice, allowing me to provide equitable therapy to folks experiencing financial hardship or structural barriers to wealth.

A limited number of reduced-fee spots are reserved for clients who are experiencing financial hardship. Feel free to inquire about this option during your consultation.

Lavender Light Therapy is in network with Aetna.

At this time I am able to bill OHP CareOregon/Healthshare for therapy services through my contract with Salus PDX.

I’m working towards becoming in network with Regence/BCBS and MODA in the coming months.

If you pay for services out of pocket, you may request a superbill, which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. If you choose this option, I recommend contacting your insurance to clarify if you are able to receive reimbursement for out of network coverage. You are responsible for knowing your benefits.

I accept payment through the HIPAA compliant Electronic Health Records (EHRs) Upheal and Theranest/Ensora Health. They both use Stripe to process payments. Payment is due at the time of each session.

Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will incur the full session fee and will be billed at the time of cancellation.

Insurance does not typically cover cancellation fees, as they only pay for rendered medically necessary services.

In person therapy is available in Southeast Portland.

Telehealth therapy is available for those located in Oregon during the session. All participants must be physically located in Oregon during the session.

I don’t keep a waitlist. If I’m not taking clients when you contact me, I’m happy to provide referrals to other therapists.

I’m unable to work with those experiencing moderate to severe substance abuse, active psychosis, or untreated eating, mood, or obsessive compulsive disorders.

For couples, I am unable to work with relationships where one or more partners is experiencing current moderate to severe substance abuse, an ongoing undisclosed affair, or ongoing intimate partner violence or coercive control.

It is out of my scope of practice to offer any court-related assessments, evaluations, opinions, statements, or testimony.
